Keep Frozen Projects was initiated by Hulda Rós Guðnadóttir. It took place in Leipzig,
Germany and Reykjavík, Iceland in January and February 2016.

Keep Frozen Projects is an extension of the Keep Frozen research project by artist Hulda Rós Guðnadóttir and was inspired by the idea of creating a larger platform for artists to share stories of their own art practice as research.

Keep Frozen Projects brought together artists, curators and other art professionals from Nordic countries and Germany facilitating international exchange, reflection and sharing between invited participants and the wider public and consisted of two solo exhibitions as part of the Keep Frozen exhibition series by artist initiator Hulda Rós Guðnadóttir as well as symposiums developed in collaboration with Suza Husse and Aldís Snorradóttir.

Main partners in Germany were Kunstkraftwerk, Leipzig where an exhibition and symposium took place and District, Berlin that contributed to the symposium in a significant way. In Reykjavik the symposium was held at Iceland Art Academy and the exhibition at ASI art museum. Additional thanks to Berit Schuck and Valur Antonsson for their curatorial advice.
